I Golden Globe 2024 hanno scelto chi doveva vincere e hanno assegnato loro tutti i premi. Non si sono state grosse sorprese, nè forme di compensazione. Il motto è stato questo è il meglio della tv e del cinema di quest’anno e questo va premiato. Così Succession vince tutto: Miglior Drama, miglior attore con finalmente il riconoscimento a Kieran Culkin, miglior attrice a Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen come non protagonista.
The Bear ha stravinto con le statuette di Best Comedy, miglior attore per Jeremy Allen White e miglior attrice per Ayo Edebiri. Beef ha vinto tutto tra le miniserie anche in questo caso compresi i due protagonisti. Tra il cinema Oppenheimer vince come miglior film drammatico, regia, attore con Cillian Murphy e Robert Downey Jr., Povere Creature è il miglior film commedia o musical con Emma Stone migliore attrice.
